The traditional handshake is on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Her are 3 new alternatives to give a ‘handshake’.

The Namaste is a customary Hindu greeting. It is usually spoken with a slight bow and hands pressed together, palms touching and fingers pointing upwards, thumbs close to the chest. This gesture is called Añjali Mudrā; the standing posture incorporating it is Pranamasana. In Hinduism, it means “I bow to the divine in you”. (source Wikipedia)

From the Heart is a variation of a bow and is done by holding both hands on the chest.

The Traditional Bow commonly used as a sign of salutation, reverence, apology or gratitude in social or religious situations. (source Wikipedia)
