Toyota Santa Rosa Laguna to Re-open on May 16, 2020

It’s been almost 2 months since the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) was implemented in the entire island of Luzon. Being part of the a non-essential product or service, Toyota Santa Rosa, Laguna (TSR) had to comply and stop its operations. This included new vehicle sales, preventive maintenance service, body repair, and parts and accessories.

The Government has since lifted ECQ to most parts of the country last May 1. It then migrated these provinces from ECQ to a General Community Quarantine (GCQ). This is a more lenient version of quarantine where movement will still be limited for the vulnerable ages and groups, while restarting most non-leisure business. We are expecting that Santa Rosa City, together with most parts of Laguna Province will be included in the GCQ as early as May 16, 2020. The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) together with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has together released guidelines for workplace prevention and control of COVID-19. In line with these, Toyota Santa Rosa, Laguna will be implementing the following measures for a safer environment for our customers and team members.

We will follow strict social distancing measures in our showroom, service reception area and offices. Markers will be placed in specific areas to maintain proper distance between customers. Car displays will be reduced to accommodate a larger showroom area. We will place tables at least 3-meters apart and will have a max seating capacity of 3 people. In the service reception area, markers will be placed in alternating chairs to allow adequate distance in between clients. Posters will also be placed in common areas to guide everyone of the measures in place.

Please note that instead of a handshake, we will be taking a bow to show our sign of respect and gratitude. Our front liners will be wearing a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for added safety. Rest assured that we are smiling behind our masks.

Upon entry, all customers and team members will be subjected to a no-contact temperature check. This will be a mandatory process. We ask for your kind understanding for this minor inconvenience.

As per DOH and DTI guidelines, visitors will have to accomplish a checklist upon entry. If a temperature above 35.5 degrees centigrade is detected, we will have to re-check the temperature after 5 minutes while being assessed by our local nurse. Should a higher than normal temperature be observed again, we would have to decline entry of the visitor to protect everyone inside the facility.

Mask upon Entry

All customers and team members will be asked by our security personnel to wear a mask. This will also be strictly implemented and is for the safety of everyone. Hand sanitizers will be placed on entry points, showroom podium and tables, service reception areas, lounge and restrooms. We will ask everyone to sanitize upon entry and exit. Kindly sanitize as well after handling money and documents. Please feel free to sanitize at every opportunity for your safety and peace of mind.

We will also be sanitizing all our display units, tables, chairs and all other areas that are frequently in contact with people. Disinfection activities will be done for the whole dealership just before we restart.

All these procedures are in place to protect and minimize the impact of COVID-19 to everyone. We ask for understanding and cooperation from our customers in this time of pandemic.
